1. What is Privcamp?
Privcamp is a platform that allows private landowners to share their properties with travelers β for a fee β
as overnight spots for campers, caravans, or tents.
2. Do I need to run a business?
No. You can rent as an individual. Payments are made directly to the landlordβcash or any other acceptable form of payment. Ask about available options.
3. What requirements must my plot meet?
It should be fenced or clearly marked, safe, and accessible by car/camper. The rest depends on your offer.
4. Do I have to provide water, electricity, or a toilet?
No. You can, but you donβt have to. Some travelers prefer off-grid. The key is to clearly describe whatβs
available.
5. Will my property be visible publicly?
Yes β but only after approval. Listing requires a short description, photos, and contact details (visible only
to registered users).
6. Do I have to be on-site?
No. You can mark your property as self-service β guests arrive and set up on their own (based on agreed
rules). Also, as a logged-in user, youβll have access to direct contact β just call the owner of the place you’re
interested in.
7. How does booking work?
The guest contacts directly (e.g. by phone), arrives and pays on the spot.
8. Can I set my own prices?
Yes. The price per night (or package) is entirely up to you β adjust it based on season, availability, or
amenities.
9. How will I get paid?
Payments are made on site to the person renting out the place, or in another way agreed upon during the conversation.
10. Can I cancel a reservation?
It’s up to you whether you want to provide the option to cancel your reservation
11. Can I limit the number of guests?
Yes. Set a max number of vehicles or people β guests will see this in the listing.
12. What if someone shows up without notice?
Itβs up to you β you may welcome them or ask them to contact you first. Mention this in your listing.
13. Do I need to issue invoices?
Tax services remain the responsibility of the landlord.
14. Can I set a minimum stay?
Yes β for example weekends only, minimum 2 nights, etc.
15. How do I upload photos?
Via the owner panel β upload photos of the property, entrance, or facilities (e.g. toilet, firepit, gazebo).
16. Can guests leave reviews?
Yes. After their stay, they can rate the location β you can also review the guest.
17. Can I contact guests in advance?
Yes. Internal messaging allows you to discuss details before arrival.
18. Do I need insurance?
Itβs not required, but we recommend basic liability insurance β especially for frequent visits.
19. Can I hide my listing seasonally?
Yes β you can mark it as unavailable (e.g. during winter).
20. Can I have multiple properties?
Yes β register each one as a separate listing.
21. Do I have to sign a contract with Privcamp?
No β by registering, you accept the terms. For advanced cooperation, we’re open to further agreements.
22. Do I need to reply immediately to messages?
No β but fast responses increase your chances of bookings and good reviews.
23. Can I offer extra services (e.g. firewood, local food)?
Yes β include it in your listing and set your own prices.
24. Can I get support?
Yes β youβll have access to the help panel and our technical/marketing team.
25. Does Privcamp charge a commission?
Privcamp does not charge any commission on payments for transactions carried out outside the online system.

1. What is Privcamp?
Itβs a platform that connects private landowners with travelers looking for peaceful, safe
spots to stay overnight with a camper, trailer, or tent.
2. Do I need a camper to use Privcamp?
No. Privcamp also works for people traveling with a tent or a regular car.
3. Is it like a regular campsite?
Not exactly β itβs more like βAirbnb for plots.β You rent a place from a private
individual.
4. How do I find a spot on the map?
Visit the website, filter the location, and choose from the available plots on the
interactive map.
5. Are the plots safe?
Yes, each location is verified before being published, and owners go through a
registration process.
6. How does booking work?
Available options:
– Simply go to the location and settle the bill with the owner – cash payment on site is permitted.
This is welcome if both parties agree.
– Call the location you’re interested in – as a logged-in user, you have full access to the owner’s contact details.
We are flexible – Privcamp is a community, not just a system.
7. Can I book last-minute?
Just call the owner and arrange the details.
8. Can I cancel a reservation?
Yes, according to the cancellation policy set by the landowner β the details are visible
in the listing.
9. Does the owner need to be on-site?
Not always β some hosts offer self-check-in access.
10. Will I have access to water and electricity?
Each listing includes information about amenities β some plots offer full infrastructure,
others are off-grid.
11. Can I bring my dog?
It depends on the plot β filters let you choose βpet-friendlyβ options.
12. Can I make a campfire or use a grill?
Only in designated areas and in accordance with local regulations β check the plot
description.
13. Are toilets available?
Some plots have them; others require your own equipment (e.g., camping toilet).
14. Can I stay longer than one night?
Yes – just arrange it directly with the owner.
15. Can I rent a plot for a week or a month?
Yes, depending on availability and the hostβs offer.
16. Are children welcome?
Of course! But each plot may have its own conditions β check the description.
17. How do I pay?
You can pay cash on site – this depends on the method of contact you choose.
18. Will I get an invoice?
If you pay in cash, check with the landlord in advance whether he issues invoices.
19. Are there size limits for campers?
Some plots have limited access β owners specify vehicle dimensions in the listing.

Yes, there’s a secure messaging system on the platform or phone contact β if the owner
